On December 12, at Dung Quat Oil Refinery, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) held a Conference to summarize Safety - Health - Environment (HSE) work in 2024. At the Conference, BSR also recognized and rewarded the contributions of partners in ensuring safe and stable operation of Dung Quat Oil Refinery in the past year. Attending the Conference were representatives of BSR's partners in HSE work: PTSC Quang Ngai, PVChem, PVMR, PMS, PVS, BSPPT, Lilama-EME; units under the Quang Ngai Provincial Police: Economic Security Department, Target Protection Police Force, Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 2 and Dung Quat Border Guard Station. On the BSR side, there was Mr. Cao Tuan Si - Factory Director; along with heads/deputy heads of functional departments of the unit.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Cao Tuan Si said that the Plant has now achieved more than 49 million safe working hours. To achieve this result, there are great contributions and assistance from partners and accompanying units, contributing to supporting BSR in completing its tasks, especially in the recent 5th general maintenance which was successful and ensured safety. “BSR organized this Conference to acknowledge the positive achievements and contributions of units in ensuring occupational safety and environmental protection for Dung Quat Refinery in the past year. I hope that this will be an open discussion to continue to propose solutions to ensure the Plant operates safely and better in the coming year. At the same time, it creates solidarity and connection between units, contributing to the common goal of ensuring the Plant continues to operate safely and stably in production activities”, the Director of Dung Quat Refinery emphasized.

The conference was held to summarize the results of the implementation of ATSKMT work in 2024 and discuss safety plans for 2025. In addition, it promptly recognized the contributions of contractors in the excellent completion of all ATSKMT work targets of BSR in 2024, contributing to helping BSR complete the milestone of 49 million safe working hours. In 2024, BSR recorded no work-related accidents, leakage and explosion incidents; no environmental incidents, security incidents. The company has updated 53 level 2, 3, 4 safety documents; safety training averaged 22 hours/person in 1 year. In addition, the unit also rehearsed more than 177 emergency incident response scenarios. In 2024, BSR also detected/identified and corrected more than 353 unsafe working behaviors and conditions. Thereby, helping the Factory to always be absolutely safe and operate at optimal capacity.

At the Conference, the partners presented a summary report on ATSKMT work in 2024 and a plan to continue ensuring safety for the Plant in 2025. In addition, the partners also shared experiences and improvements in ensuring ATSKMT work at Dung Quat Refinery. At the same time, they shared and discussed difficulties and recommendations in the coordination work to ensure ATSKMT work at Dung Quat Refinery in the past and proposed solutions for implementation in the coming time.

Also at the Conference, BSR organized a commendation ceremony to recognize the contributions of partners and contractors in ensuring the safe and stable operation of Dung Quat Refinery in 2024. Contractors such as PTSC Quang Ngai, PVChem, PMS, PSV, BSPPT, PVMR, Lilama-EME; units under the Quang Ngai Provincial Police such as the Economic Security Department, the Target Protection Police Force, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 2, the Target Protection Police Platoon - Mobile Police Department and Dung Quat Border Guard Station... have contributed to supporting BSR in ensuring the safe and stable operation of the Refinery and reaching the milestone of 49 million safe working hours.
