On July 9 and 11, in Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province, a working delegation of the Naval Region 1 Command led by Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Region, conducted a comprehensive unit strength inspection (VMTD) in the first 6 months of the year for Brigade 169.
The inspection content is based on 4 criteria for building a model and typical VMTD unit. In particular, it focuses on the implementation of key tasks and breakthroughs that have been identified; the awareness of soldiers about the tasks and breakthroughs of the sectors, and the overcoming of weaknesses that the inspection team pointed out in the previous inspection.

In the first 6 months of the year, Brigade 169 strictly maintained the regime and order, registered the system of documents, statistics, and training schedules in full accordance with regulations; maintained good and effective Party and political work activities; ensured good system of lesson plans and political education lectures; kept complete Party cell activity books and records of cadres and Party members; strictly managed technical equipment; strictly implemented technical days at the unit. Well done in grasping, forecasting, and managing soldiers' ideology, promptly cared for and encouraged soldiers with families in difficult circumstances, and soldiers with health conditions of type 3 and type 4.
The inspection team acknowledged and commended the results that the Brigade had achieved in carrying out its tasks in the first 6 months of the year; especially the successful completion of training tasks and organizing live ammunition firing at sea to ensure absolute safety; the unit ensured safety in all aspects.

Concluding the inspection, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Region requested the Brigade to promptly overcome the shortcomings and limitations pointed out by the inspection team, and in the coming time, focus on leading the unit to successfully complete the remaining tasks in 2024.
