Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Ngoc Canh presented the appointment decision to Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, new General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation.
The representative of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc announced the decision of the Party Committee of the Bloc to approve Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Railways Corporation.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Vice Chairman of the Committee, emphasized that Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh is a well-trained officer, matured from the grassroots, has many years of practical experience, and has held many important positions; especially in the role of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, together with the corporation's leadership, he proposed many solutions, contributing to the corporation's completion of its tasks.
"With the new responsibility, Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh needs to quickly get up to speed with the work, coordinate with the board of members of the corporation to successfully complete the leadership and direction tasks, and help the corporation overcome difficulties, in order to continue affirming the important position and role of railways in the development of the country," Mr. Canh said and suggested that the Vietnam Railway Corporation focus on completing restructuring projects, development strategies and 5-year plans, especially preparing, gradually approaching, training, building, and managing the operation of the high-speed railway system.
In his acceptance speech, the new General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation Hoang Gia Khanh pledged to focus on building solidarity from the corporation's leaders to the units, unifying from ideology to action with the goal of building an increasingly developed railway industry. Continuously caring for the lives and jobs of workers, gradually increasing income and improving working conditions for employees.
Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, born in 1975 in Thanh Hoa, has a Master's degree in Transport Organization and Management. Before being appointed as General Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation, Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh worked for many years at Thanh Hoa Railway Joint Stock Company, holding the following positions: Director of Thanh Hoa Railway Joint Stock Company, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation.
In May 2023, after General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation Dang Sy Manh was appointed Chairman of the Board of Members, Deputy General Director Hoang Gia Khanh was assigned to be in charge of the Executive Board of Vietnam Railways Corporation.
Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation Dang Sy Manh presented the decision to appoint new Deputy General Director of the Corporation Tran Anh Tuan.
Immediately after the implementation ceremony of the Committee's decision, Vietnam Railways Corporation organized the implementation of the decision to appoint the deputy general director of the corporation.
Accordingly, the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation appointed Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Binh Tri Thien Railway Joint Stock Company, to hold the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation for a term of 5 years from October 18, 2023.
Mr. Tran Anh Tuan was born in 1980, has a bachelor's degree in accounting and auditing. Before being appointed as Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan had many years of experience working in the railway industry at Binh Tri Thien Railway Joint Stock Company; holding the position of Deputy Director of Binh Tri Thien Railway Joint Stock Company.
