Currently, the Overseas Labor Center is in the process of exchanging and negotiating with the Australian side and has not yet deployed the selection of workers to work in Australia.
Recently, there has been a lot of information on social networks about recruiting workers to work in Australia. According to the Overseas Labor Center (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), this is fraudulent information, workers need to be more vigilant to avoid losing money.
The methods of these subjects are very sophisticated. They create fan pages on social networks and post fake information about recruiting workers to work abroad, specifically in Australia.
The subjects did not hesitate to forge the seals and signatures of the leaders of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the leaders of the Overseas Labor Center to create labor recruitment notices in order to create trust among workers.
Then, the subjects impersonated officers of the Overseas Labor Center and asked workers to pay money (some people paid from 40 to 50 million VND) via credit card accounts, international payment cards (Visa, Mastercard), then deposited money into the accounts.
When the employee deposits money into the account, the scammer provides a link for the employee to declare information, thereby stealing information about the employee's account to purchase goods or transfer money to another account.
The Department of Overseas Labor Management emphasized that fraudulent tricks not only cause economic damage to workers but also seriously affect the reputation of licensed service agencies and businesses.
People need to be highly vigilant and promptly report any suspicious behavior to the authorities for support.
This agency recommends that to avoid falling into fraud traps, workers should contact the local labor agency directly for advice and support in accordance with regulations.
Workers only need to complete procedures through licensed enterprises. This list is available on the website of the Department of Overseas Labor Management: http://dolab.molisa.gov.vn (in the section: list of labor export enterprises).
A representative of the Overseas Labor Center said that the Center is currently in the stage of exchanging and negotiating with the Australian side and has not yet started recruiting workers.
When officially permitted by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Center will publicly and fully post on the websites of: the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (molisa.gov.vn), the Department of Overseas Labor Management (dolab.gov.vn), and the Overseas Labor Center (colab.gov.vn).
In case workers have been defrauded of illegal money by scammers, workers are requested to report to the police and notify the Overseas Labor Center at 024 7303 0199 extension 113 or at 01 Trinh Hoai Duc, Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi for coordination in verification and clarification.
