Ministry of Transport mobilizes and appoints many important personnel

On the morning of November 14, the Ministry of Transport held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work.


At the conference, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang handed over decisions to transfer and appoint 6 leaders of departments, institutes, project management boards, universities and colleges of transport.

Specifically, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hien, Acting Director of the Legal Department, was appointed to the position of Director of the Legal Department.

Mr. Tran Viet Ha, Acting Director of the Department of International Cooperation, was appointed to hold the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

Mr. Vu Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Project Management Board 7.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thuy, Acting Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, was recognized as Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Le Van Dat, Head of Traffic Safety and Transport Database Analysis Department, Institute of Transport Strategy and Development, was appointed as Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development.

Mr. Vu Minh Duc, Head of Student Affairs Department of Central College of Transport V, was appointed as Vice Principal of Central College of Transport V.

Speaking at the assignment, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang emphasized: The work of rotating, mobilizing and appointing cadres is a regular task of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Transport to ensure that agencies, units and staff operate more effectively. At the same time, this is one of the tasks that must be done to train cadres, one person can do many things in the context of the Party and State directing to continue to reorganize and streamline the apparatus and cadres. Therefore, it requires cadres to be increasingly better, to undertake work more effectively, and to have a higher sense of responsibility.

"The General Secretary gave instructions on two extremely important and urgent issues: the fight against waste and the streamlining of the apparatus. The Prime Minister has also issued many documents directing these issues. The Party Executive Committee and the Ministry's leaders have met on these issues to direct their implementation in agencies and units.

Therefore, the mobilization, rotation, and assignment of cadres must be done continuously, regularly, and seriously, thereby enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of consulting, as well as training source cadres for the Ministry of Transport," said the Minister.

Congratulating the appointed officials, Minister Nguyen Van Thang assessed that these officials have made great efforts, fulfilled their tasks well, and have been trusted by the Party Executive Committee and the Ministry's leaders, and assigned new tasks. The appointment is objective, public, and transparent; this is a pressure for the appointed officials to strive to fulfill their tasks well.

Mr. Tran Viet Ha was assigned the position of Deputy Director in charge of the Department of International Cooperation in the context of the Department's lack of human resources. Mr. Ha has been diligent, proactive, responsible and open-minded, increasingly asserting his capacity, being assigned the position of Acting Director and now Director.

Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hien is a fast-growing cadre, completing assigned tasks quickly and with quality. In particular, with assigned goals and tasks, Ms. Hien has connected and communicated well with ministries, branches, and agencies to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Transport in building institutions, amending and promulgating decrees, circulars, and laws.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thuy has nearly 15 years of teaching experience, 10 years of management experience and has successfully completed his duties in the last 3 years. Therefore, when he was recognized as Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Mr. Thuy can immediately promote his working experience and lead the school to successfully complete its tasks.

Mr. Vu Tuan Anh is a well-trained officer with 30 years of experience in consulting in the field of transportation, including many years in department-level management. With his assignment as Deputy Director of Project Management Board 7, Mr. Tuan Anh will be trained from practice and gain practical experience.

Mr. Vu Minh Duc is a cadre with basic training in the field of bridges and roads, many years of education work, and has completed his tasks well and excellently in the past 3 years. The appointment of Mr. Duc will strengthen the school's leadership, ensuring that the school's leadership operates more effectively.

Mr. Le Van Dat has the professional qualifications to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks, has good scientific research ability, and has basic training in the field of road and bridge construction. The appointment of Mr. Dat as Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development will immediately promote his capacity and experience, and together with the institute, he will successfully complete the tasks, especially in advising the leaders of the Ministry of Transport.

Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hien, born in 1980, has a Master's degree in Law. Before being appointed as Director of the Legal Department, Ms. Hien held many important positions in transport agencies and enterprises such as: Deputy Director of the Legal Department, Deputy Director of the Environmental Department, Deputy Director of the Enterprise Management Department, Full-time Controller at Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation, Acting Director of the Legal Department.

Mr. Tran Viet Ha, born in 1976, has a Master's degree in International Law. Before being appointed as Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Mr. Ha held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of International Cooperation, and Acting Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

Mr. Vu Tuan Anh, born in 1974, has a Master's degree in Business Administration and is a traffic construction engineer. Before being assigned to the position of Deputy Director of Project Management Board 7, Mr. Tuan Anh had worked for many years in the transport sector, including holding the positions of Deputy Director of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Department and Deputy Director of the Transport Infrastructure Department.

Mr. Le Van Dat, born in 1975, has a Master's degree in Highway and Urban Road Construction. Before being appointed as Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development, Mr. Dat worked for many years at the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development and held many positions: Head of Traffic Safety Research Department, Director of the Traffic Safety Research Center, Director of the Traffic Safety Database Analysis Center, Head of Traffic Safety and Traffic Database Analysis Department.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thuy, born in 1985, has a PhD, majoring in Structure. Before being appointed as Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Mr. Thuy worked at many units. Since October 2014, he has worked at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and has held the following positions: Lecturer of the Faculty of Transport Engineering, Deputy Director of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation, Director of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation, Acting Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport.

Mr. Vu Minh Duc, born in 1982, has a Master's degree in Highway and Urban Road Construction. Before being appointed, Mr. Duc worked for many years at the Central College of Transport V, and was appointed as Head of the Student Affairs Department.
