The Ministry of Education and Training officially recognized the School Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education.

Today (March 22), the Minister of Education and Training decided to recognize the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education for the 2020-2025 term.

According to the decision, Dr. Truong Thi Hien, Party Secretary and Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, was recognized as Chairwoman of the University Council for the 2020-2025 term.

The Decision takes effect from the date of signing (March 21), based on the Resolution of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training on the personnel work of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education; At the request of the Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel and the request of the University Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in Submission No. 85/TTr-HDT dated October 31, 2023.

Previously, on October 14, the University Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education passed a resolution on leadership personnel work, unanimously electing Dr. Truong Thi Hien, Party Secretary, Vice Principal, to hold the position of Chairwoman of the University Council for the 2020-2025 term.

On December 21, 2023, the School Council continued to elect 2 additional members. Thus, up to now, the School Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education for the 2020-2025 term has fully satisfied the composition and structure according to regulations.

Ms. Truong Thi Hien, born in 1979, used to hold the position of Head of the Planning and Finance Department. In 2015, Ms. Hien was appointed as Vice Principal, the first female and youngest Vice Principal of the school in the past 62 years. Ms. Hien's official position as Chairwoman of the School Board is the next important step in gradually perfecting the school's leadership positions.
