From June 1 to June 13, 2023, the drug and crime prevention and control force (PCMT&TP) of the Provincial Border Guard arrested 9 cases/10 subjects, seized 2 kg of opium resin, 14.55 grams of heroin, 568 synthetic drug pills, 10 kg of explosives, 500 detonators and many other exhibits.

Recently, in the area of ​​Kham 1 village, Trung Ly commune, Muong Lat district, Trung Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with Trung Ly commune police to arrest two subjects including: Vang A Cang, born in 1987 and Vang A Trau, born in 1974, both with permanent residence in Kham 1 village, Trung Ly commune, illegally storing 4.492 grams of heroin and 06 synthetic drug pills.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial Border Guard Command, in the coming time, the Provincial Border Guard's PCMT&TP force will continue to coordinate with the Police force on the two border lines to focus on fighting and suppressing more effectively all types of crimes, especially drug-related crimes.
