The Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a training course for civil servants at the senior specialist level and equivalent in 2024 for 80 civil servants and public employees of affiliated units.

On October 21, the Central School for Training and Fostering Industry and Trade Officials in coordination with the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 Training Course for civil servants at the senior specialist level and equivalent for 80 civil servants and public employees of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

At the 13th National Party Congress, it was determined: "Focus on building a team of cadres and civil servants with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, serving the people and the development of the country. Strengthening discipline and order along with reforming salaries, regimes, and preferential policies, creating an environment and working conditions to promote innovation and creativity, serving development; having a mechanism for selecting, training, attracting, and promoting talents, encouraging and protecting cadres who dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, dare to face difficulties and challenges, and are resolute in their actions for the common good. At the same time, there is a mechanism for screening and promptly replacing those who do not fulfill their duties, violate the law, public ethics, professional ethics, are disciplined, and no longer have prestige with the people" .

Clearly identifying the importance of personnel work, in recent times, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has focused on building a contingent of cadres with qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task; sufficient in quantity, quality, and structure in line with the development strategy of the industry and trade sector. In addition, personnel work has closely followed the Party's viewpoints and principles, increasingly becoming routine and achieving important results.

At the same time, the Ministry has issued many resolutions, conclusions, directives and amended and supplemented many regulations and rules for implementation, thus, the personnel work processes are increasingly strict, synchronous, public, transparent, scientific and democratic. Notably, the work of training, fostering and updating new knowledge is of interest, gradually linked to titles, with planning and use of staff.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel emphasized that in order to meet the requirements of knowledge, skills, and develop the capacity to perform public duties for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the main specialist level in accordance with the prescribed standards; to meet the requirements of state administrative reform, serve the people and the development of the country.

As a mandatory condition for every cadre, civil servant, and public employee to equip themselves, the Department of Organization and Personnel also requires trainees to strictly follow the rules and regulations, fully attend all training topics, fully grasp the content that the lecturers impart, supplement and update necessary, modern and practical knowledge about state management to successfully fulfill their assigned duties.

According to MSc. Le Hai An - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the Central School of Training and Fostering of Industry and Trade Officials, during the course of organizing the class, the school always pays attention and provides all conditions in terms of facilities and experienced teaching staff to best serve the course.

By participating in the training course, trainees will be equipped and updated with advanced knowledge on state management and develop public service performance capacity, meeting the requirements of state administrative reform, contributing to building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with good moral qualities, political mettle, capacity and professionalism, dedicated to serving the people, contributing to building an increasingly advanced and modern administration, meeting the requirements of national development.

The school leaders expect students to seriously implement the training program and class rules and regulations, actively research and participate in discussions on topics, and successfully complete the requirements set forth in the class.

"By participating in the course, students will be updated with necessary knowledge about state management and job performance skills, while enhancing their sense of serving the people to improve the working capacity of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in performing assigned tasks, powers, and responsibilities.
