Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the decision to recognize the Traditional Day of Industry and Trade Newspaper

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien informed that on October 2, 1945, Minister of National Economy Nguyen Manh Ha - a member of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam signed Decree No. 08-BKT/VP on the organization and operation of the Ministry of National Economy, in which the Economic Review Department was responsible for publishing Vietnam Economic Review. After many periods and many name changes, today Vietnam Economic Review is called Industry and Trade Newspaper.

“The Industry and Trade Magazine, Industry and Trade Television, and Industry and Trade Publishing House also started from this event. Therefore, in the long term, we need to decide to make October 2nd the traditional day of media agencies in the Vietnam Industry and Trade sector,” the Minister commented.

Through historical data collection, especially through direct monitoring and direction in the recent past, the Party Executive Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly assessed that the Industry and Trade Newspaper and media agencies in the industry and trade sector have made efforts and achieved very important results, focusing on 3 basic points.

Specifically, the Industry and Trade Newspaper and media agencies always strictly implement the purpose of the Newspaper as the mouthpiece of the Industry and Trade sector, the voice of workers in the sector. The Newspaper as well as media agencies have many innovations and reforms suitable to specific conditions and clearly innovated in both content and form.

The organization of the agency apparatus is increasingly perfected, and the means and working conditions are improved. The team of leaders, managers, reporters, editors, technicians, and workers in the agency are trained, nurtured, and practiced, and have made progress in all aspects.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien also requested the Industry and Trade Newspaper to focus on studying and thoroughly grasping the Party's viewpoints and policies, the State's laws and policies, especially in the field of press and communication and the work of the Industry and Trade sector to plan policies, build development orientations and organize the implementation of regular tasks to achieve the best and most effective results...

On behalf of all cadres, reporters, editors and employees of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh pledged to continue to lead the collective of the Newspaper to unite, be creative, and complete the goals of the Project to comprehensively innovate the Industry and Trade Newspaper for the period 2023 - 2025, building the Industry and Trade Newspaper into a multimedia press agency that is strong in content and modern in form, meeting the expectations of the Minister for a pioneering, innovative and creative press agency.

At the same time, the Industry and Trade Newspaper will continue to promote its glorious tradition, solidarity and constant creativity to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing more to the development of the Industry and Trade sector and the country's economy.
