Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang presented the Decision to appoint Lieutenant General Pham The Tung and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam to the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Prime Minister, Comrade Truong Hai Long, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, announced the Prime Minister's Decisions to appoint Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Director of the Internal Political Security Department, and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Director of the Department of Investigation Police for Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling, to the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang presented the Decision to appoint Lieutenant General Pham The Tung and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam to the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang stated: "Today, the Ministry of Public Security is pleased to organize the ceremony to present the Decision to appoint Lieutenant General Pham The Tung and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam to the position of Deputy Minister. On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated comrades Pham The Tung and Nguyen Ngoc Lam on being honored by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.
