Provincial Military Command: Meeting to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

At the meeting, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command reviewed the historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; and summarized the peak emulation campaign "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - moving forward to win 3 first prizes".

Through the emulation campaign, it has contributed to propagating and educating cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces to deeply understand the stature and historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; the great contributions of the armed forces of Military Region 2 and the armed forces of Lao Cai province in the resistance war against foreign invaders to protect the Fatherland. Thereby, enhancing patriotism, building a comprehensively strong provincial armed force, "Exemplary model", excellently completing assigned political tasks.

On behalf of the provincial Military Command, the Ministry of National Defense , the General Staff, and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army awarded Certificates of Merit to the collectives and individuals participating in the 8th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange.

On this occasion, authorized by the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Provincial Military Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in advising, organizing and participating in the 8th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange; the Provincial Military Command commended 9 outstanding collectives and individuals in the peak emulation "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - moving forward to win 3 first prizes".
