Recently, the movie Life is Still Beautiful has entered a new climax. After a long time of unrequited love for Luu (Hoang Hai), Binh 'no' (Minh Cuc) boldly asked Dien (To Dung) and Luyen (Thanh Huong) for support to confess his love.
However, at this time, Luu declared that he only liked Luyen and then angrily left. This action made Binh cry in pain and was then comforted by Dien. Interestingly, after the night of heartbreak, Binh and Dien "crossed the line" and became a couple.
Minh Cuc's heartbroken scene in the movie "Life is still beautiful" caught attention.
Canh Binh crying because of a broken heart made a strong impression on the audience. Sharing with VTC News, actress Minh Cuc said that when filming this scene, she made the whole crew hold back their laughter:
“Binh’s confession and “night-time” scenes were divided into 2 days of filming and were carefully directed by director Danh Dung. He told each of us not to “infect” others with our emotions.
Hearing that, I immediately understood that he wanted me to express Binh's broken heart in a sincere, painful way but still make the audience laugh.
At first I thought this was a "weird" request, but it also suited my "crazy" level so I was very excited".

The actress said that with this special scene, not only she but the whole film crew was tense and highly focused:
“The director was so meticulous that he directed us from where we came out to when we cried. But Danh Dung also respected the emotions and creativity of the actors.
After directing the performance, he let us “nurture” our emotions and skillfully arranged the scene to make it “evocative”. The scene where Binh cried because of a broken heart was the last scene of the day, and the director focused on it, so the whole crew was very tense and focused.
The actress said she faced a lot of pressure from the broken heart scene: “I understand that this is an emotional scene, and it is the last scene of the day, so everyone is tired. Therefore, I also focused very much so as not to affect everyone, to avoid having to film over and over again.
The actress was quite stressed because of this special scene.
Before the scene, I had already “captured” the emotions. When I got into the scene, all the frustration and sadness just came rushing in. I felt my throat tighten, tears welled up, and I didn’t need to use technique to express the actor’s emotions.
Luckily, the camera crew understood us very well. That’s why they were able to capture my emotions in the heartbreak scene. Thanks to that, we only had to film this scene once.”
However, because Minh Cuc's performance in this segment was so humorous, it almost ruined this serious atmosphere:
“While filming, I still acted and paid attention to the reactions of the people around me to adjust accordingly. But I saw that everyone was tense, so I felt even more pressured.
When I burst into tears and sat down on the ground, throwing a tantrum while wearing a pink dress with a fluffy bow, I saw my teammates covering their mouths to hold back their laughter.
Seeing this reaction, I began to feel secure and confident to "let loose" with my emotions at that time.
"It feels great, it gives me a lot of encouragement."
Luckily, after only one take, the director shouted: "Cut, close-up". At this point, everyone in the crew clapped their hands, I breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that I had completed the scene well and made everyone satisfied.
That feeling was great, it made me feel very encouraged. When I went to film the close-up scenes, I acted and heard everyone in the technical team standing nearby giggling, I knew I did well.
Although it was a supporting role, the character Binh left a strong impression on the audience.
When this scene aired, Minh Cuc also received many compliments from the audience:
“When this scene aired, I read the comments and saw that everyone was amused. Viewers even commented that this was the funniest heartbreak scene they had ever seen. Some people texted me asking if I was really crying or not, and where I got the emotion to cry.
Some people who know my situation even guess that I take out the hardships and difficulties from my personal life to “release” in this role. For actors like us, that is the most valuable compliment.”
