Binh Duong receives an additional 44 billion VND after the launching ceremony to support people affected by storms and floods

On the morning of September 14, at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Duong Province held a ceremony to launch support for people affected by storm No. 3. The ceremony was attended by provincial leaders, officials, civil servants, public employees, the business community and workers in the province.

At the launching ceremony, many groups, individuals and businesses in Binh Duong province registered to support. After the ceremony, the total amount of support from individuals, organizations and businesses in Binh Duong province was about 44 billion VND.

Of which, Binh Duong Provincial Trade Union donated 10 billion VND; Becamex IDC Corporation donated 5 billion VND; Dai Nam Joint Stock Company donated 5 billion VND; Kim Oanh Group donated 3.2 billion VND; Ben Cat City donated 2 billion VND; Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company donated 2 billion VND; Thanh Le Company donated 2 billion VND; Tan Uyen City donated 1.8 billion VND; Thuan An City donated 1.5 billion VND; Provincial Red Cross Association donated 1 billion VND;... along with many other individuals, agencies and businesses in the area.

Previously, on September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Duong province announced 117 pages of statements related to supporting people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods, through accounts opened at Vietcombank.

In just 3 days, from September 10 to 12, the accounts of the Binh Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Binh Duong Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee recorded nearly 1,500 donation transactions from agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals. After 3 days, from an initial balance of more than 205 million VND, the fund of the Binh Duong Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee increased to more than 2.5 billion VND.
