Leaving behind the harsh heat of the last days of April in the city, the wheels just rolled over the bridge across the Truong Giang River, we felt the cool wind blowing from the sea, along with the familiar salty taste, making us miss it.

Despite contacting us in advance, Mr. Vo Hong Ron (Owner of Blue Whale Service) still did not have time to "sit in one place" to talk to us. He said that this season, around 4 pm, the number of customers starts to increase, he has to prepare to turn on the lights, clean up and prepare seafood to serve everyone.

Since last year’s tourist season, his establishment has always been overloaded. However, he shared that fortunately, even though his service has not satisfied customers’ expectations, thanks to the wonderful freshness and peace of Tam Tien beach, no one has complained or blamed him for his less-than-perfect service.

This year, for the tent accommodation service near the beach, the Blue Whale facility has set a schedule to receive guests early. "Tam Tien beach, especially the area in front of the Blue Whale facility, is 200m from the shore but the water level is only up to an adult's waist. Not only Tam Ky and Nui Thanh, but also tourists from other provinces and cities, including foreign tourists" - Mr. Ron said.

With a cool climate and temperatures much lower than the mainland, Tam Tien beach still retains its pristine coconut trees and green lawns. Visitors to Tam Tien during the April 30 - May 1 holiday season will completely forget the scorching heat of the city.

Mr. Phan Van Nho's family (Tan Thanh, Tam Ky City) booked a 4-day stay at a homestay in Ha Loc village (Tam Tien commune) for his wife, children and parents to relax.

Mr. Nho shared that this year the weather is forecast to be hot, now going back to his hometown also feels uncomfortable, the children staying in air-conditioned rooms all day is not good for their health, so he chose Tam Tien for the family to have fun and live.

"I have known this beach many times with my colleagues. This year, I chose this destination so that my family can have more wonderful experiences. Both the elderly and children can immerse themselves in nature at such a beautiful beach. During the 4 days here, we will go to Tam Tien fish market, enjoy fresh seafood together, row a boat together, watch corals, take a nap under the coconut trees, and in the evening, walk on the cool beach with wine..." - Mr. Nho excitedly said.

Mr. Tran Hai Nam - Vice Chairman of Tam Tien Commune People's Committee said that in recent years, Tam Tien beach has attracted tourists thanks to the wild and rustic beauty of the flat, poetic beach, some destinations such as Tam Tien early fish market, Ba Dau coral reef, 5-star luxury resort Tui Blue Nam Hoi An and nearly 10 places for food and accommodation services. On hot weekends, Tam Tien is estimated to welcome 300 - 500 tourists every day.

To ensure the safety of tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the People's Committee of Tam Tien commune has reorganized the security and order self-management team at the village level, regularly patrolling the coastal area to advise tourists not to swim too far from shore and to prevent violations of the law that affect tourists' experiences. The locality also requires service businesses to sign a commitment to ensure the safety of tourists during their service.
