(Dan Tri) - On the morning of December 22, metro line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) officially came into operation, thousands of people flocked to the Ben Thanh underground station area to experience the first metro line in Ho Chi Minh City.
On the morning of December 22, the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line No. 1 in Ho Chi Minh City officially came into operation. The 14 stations of this metro line opened to welcome passengers at 10:00 a.m. Before the opening time, thousands of people from all over the place flocked to the entrance of Ben Thanh underground station (District 1), waiting to experience the first metro trip in Ho Chi Minh City. The sun was hot but people still patiently lined up in front of the entrance to Ben Thanh underground station to experience the train. The line of people stretched from tunnel gate number 2 of Ben Thanh station all the way to 23/9 park.
