Mr. Tomasz Siemoniak also denied international media reports that Poland is obstructing the investigation into the Nord Stream pipeline explosion.

Polish prosecutors have provided information to European investigators and could allocate additional resources to the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage investigation if requested, Minister Tomasz Siemoniak said. There have been meetings between German and Polish prosecutors on the case. There is no indication of any dissatisfaction with the handling of the case by other parties.

“As far as I can determine, there was no situation involving lack of cooperation or intentional error on the part of anyone,” he added.

The Nord Stream pipeline connecting Russia to Germany exploded in September 2022.

Recently, the Wall Street Journal quoted anonymous European investigators involved in the investigation of the Baltic Sea gas pipeline explosion as saying that Polish officials refused to cooperate in the investigation and failed to disclose important evidence.
