(GLO)- On the morning of July 28, comrade Trinh Duy Thuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Pleiku City attended the house donation ceremony and awarded funding to support the construction of houses for the family of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan (residential group 6) and Ms. Le Thi Dan (group 5, Tra Ba ward).
Both families are poor and have difficulty in housing. After 2 months of construction, the 2 houses have been completed and put into use. Accordingly, Mr. Tuan's house has an area of 65 m2, including 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, toilet with a total construction cost of 149 million VND. Mrs. Dan's house has an area of 40 m2, including 1 living room, 1 bedroom and ancillary works with a total cost of 80 million VND. Of which, the Secretary of the City Party Committee supported each family with 60 million VND, the family borrowed the rest and was supported by philanthropists).

At the ceremony, the Pleiku City Party Secretary presented two families with a set of tables, chairs and a television worth nearly 13 million VND; organizations and philanthropists presented some household items to the families.
Recognizing and appreciating the sharing and promoting the spirit of "helping each other" of the local authorities, relatives and neighbors who have actively supported, joined hands and contributed to help the two families complete the construction of a new, solid and spacious house, Pleiku City Party Secretary Trinh Duy Thuan hopes that after having a stable place to live, the two families will continue to try and make efforts to overcome difficulties, develop the economy, quickly escape poverty, stabilize their lives, become families with a good income in the residential area in the coming time and join hands to continue building Pleiku City to be increasingly clean, civilized, with no poor households falling too far behind.
