Visiting and encouraging the leaders of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City and contractors and workers constructing the Coastal Road connecting Lien Chieu Port, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in 2023.

After the report showed that the progress of site clearance and construction basically met the set requirements, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang suggested continuing to promote this spirit in 2024.

This is a key and extremely important dynamic project of the city, to ensure the synchronous connection of the shared infrastructure of Lien Chieu port. Thereby, helping to attract investors to Lien Chieu port, as well as the city's traffic infrastructure to be connected smoothly to the northwest area of ​​the city.

Regarding the 2024 plan, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang suggested that the Party Committee of the City People's Committee should pay attention to directing and resolving policies for households that must be cleared from the beginning of the year.

Regarding site clearance, the Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee directed the District People's Committee and the Site Clearance Board to focus on resolving cases that can be resolved immediately to clear the site for construction units. Strive to have site for construction units by March 31, 2024; at the same time, strengthen coordination to complete the project on schedule and with the best quality.

Reporting to the city leaders, Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City (PMU), said that the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port has a total investment of 1,203 billion VND, with a route length of 2.96km.

Identifying this as a key and dynamic project of the city; immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the Project Management Board focused on directing the joint venture contractor and coordinating with related units to implement the project and has so far completed the work. The project has relocated 258/265 graves, reaching 97%; received money and handed over the site: 182/255 files, reaching 71.4%.

The unit focused on simultaneously deploying 6 construction teams at locations where the land had been handed over, including 3 teams working 3 shifts continuously at the overpass at the first intersection of the route, the last intersection of the route and the canal bridge.

Up to now, the value of the volume implemented is 112 billion VND/888.7 billion VND (reaching 12.6%), specifically: completing the underpass at Km1+723.86 (internal road of Lien Chieu Industrial Park); completing 178/374 bored piles, implementing the construction of pedestals, bodies, and pier caps at 18/68 locations, completing the casting of 44/196 Super-T girders, completing the relocation of underground cables and energizing 3 22kV output lines...

Visiting and encouraging workers at the project to upgrade and embellish the City Memorial and renovate and expand the March 29 Square, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang emphasized that this is one of the key projects, the face of the city and also a project with special spiritual and cultural significance.

The City Party Secretary requested the Project Management Board and related units to coordinate and urge contractors to organize and implement to ensure the project meets the requirements in terms of time and progress. Contractors need to focus on human and material resources, paying special attention to the quality and aesthetics of the project.

For subdivision 2 (phase 2), the City Party Secretary also requested to speed up the appraisal procedures for implementation; synchronize with the road around the monument, to facilitate traffic flow when organizing events.

It is known that the project with a total investment of more than 212 billion VND, including 2 phases divided into 3 sub-areas. Of which, phase 2 - sub-area 3 is under construction with a total investment of more than 101 billion VND. Up to now, the project has completed 80% of the volume. The construction time of the project is 300 days, expected to be completed on March 20, 2024.

The management board commits to complete the project on schedule, meet quality requirements, and ensure labor safety and environmental sanitation.

Visiting and encouraging workers who are constructing the Social Housing Project for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang emphasized that this is a very important project, demonstrating the city's philosophy of remembering the source of water for families with revolutionary contributions.

The construction investment project has a total investment of more than 223 billion VND, is newly built synchronously including a 12-storey apartment building + 1 basement + attic with green landscape infrastructure, arranged with 209 apartments with an area of ^​​65 -77m2 /each apartment.

The project started on December 28, 2022 and is expected to be completed in October 2024. To date, the rough construction of floors 6 to 8 has been basically completed.
