True to the spirit of “Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind” , Thuy Hien “riding” the first “storms” when she overcame the pain of an injury. Before the show, former Wushu athlete Thuy Hien had a hard fall, resulting in a fracture, dislocation and inability to move. She had to ask a member of the crew to help carry her onto the stage.

However, she still tried to complete the performance "One Round Vietnam". Not only showing her singing ability, Thuy Hien also showed off her Wushu skills on stage. On the screen behind her, footage of the "wushu queen"'s competition journey when she was young appeared, making the beautiful ladies emotional.
Thuy Hien choked up: “ I chose this song because I love Vietnam so much. I want to prove to all Vietnamese people as well as the world that: Vietnamese women are small but their will to strive is not small at all!” Due to injury, Thuy Hien could not realize many of her cherished ideas, she expressed regret that she could only perform some relatively simple martial arts moves.
The effort to overcome the pain and the spirit of the performance made the beautiful ladies stand up and applaud. The performance was quiet but moving, touching the hearts of many audiences.
Nguyen Thuy Hien was born in 1979, growing up in a family with a tradition of sports with her father being a football player and her sister being a sepak takraw player. From the age of 12, Thuy Hien showed outstanding talent and became a potential seed of the Vietnamese Wushu village in the 1990s and early 2000s.

In 1993, at the age of 14, Thuy Hien won the first world gold medal for Vietnamese Wushu at the World Wushu Championship held in Malaysia. Thuy Hien was later awarded the 3rd class Labor Medal.
During her heyday, Thuy Hien was always the top Wushu athlete in Vietnam and the continent in the taolu (performance) category. During her glorious career, the beautiful athlete won 7 gold medals at the World Championships, 2 gold medals at the Asian Championships, 2 gold medals at the Southeast Asian Championships and 8 gold medals at the SEA Games.
After retiring in 2005, Thuy Hien became a Wushu coach and referee for the Hanoi Department of Sports and Physical Training.
At the age of U50, Thuy Hien still possesses a beautiful and youthful appearance. Participating in an entertainment program, Thuy Hien brings the spirit of daring to challenge herself, overcoming all barriers to approach the artistic playground.
Thuy Hien also opened up about her depression: “I want to inspire everyone, especially women or families with someone suffering from depression. I want to help them have more spiritual encouragement to fight that disease.
I am a very sick person, from the first small signs until now it has been nearly 20 years. But thanks to the care and encouragement of relatives and friends, I have gradually recovered. I came to this program, standing here after many hardships just to hope to give the community the values of effort and experience that I have experienced myself.
Coming to Chi dep dap gio, Thuy Hien wants to convey positive messages to women, she hopes that women must always be truly confident and believe in their ability to realize their dreams. Throughout her career, the spirit of sports training and national spirit have always been honed by her to be a guiding principle in life.
