According to the cooperation agreement, Medtronic Vietnam will accompany Hue Central Hospital in 19 training programs to improve the skills of doctors, especially surgeons, to perform advanced surgical techniques for patients in the Central region (such as cardiovascular surgery, digestive surgery, cardiovascular intervention, stroke treatment, etc.). The program lasts for 2 years.
At the signing ceremony, Professor Pham Nhu Hiep highly appreciated Medtronic Vietnam's cooperation with the hospital, saying that 5 years ago, Hue Central Hospital and Medtronic Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement, and up to now, the two sides have had close cooperation, especially in training.
According to Professor Pham Nhu Hiep, Medtronic is a very strong and strategic partner, providing many products to Hue Central Hospital as well as surgical services... Medtronic is also a very good partner in training, especially in advanced techniques...
"Medtronic has also supported the hospital a lot in training cardiologists, gastroenterologists, providing services, chemicals, drugs... During the very difficult period of the Covid-19 pandemic, Medtronic still supported the hospital with supplies, drugs... to meet patient treatment needs," said Professor, Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep.
Mr. Paul Verhulst, Vice President of Medtronic Southeast Asia, also highly appreciated Hue Central Hospital, considering it one of the unit's strategic training and education partners to train new doctors for both grade 1 and grade 2 hospitals.
"We hope to help more local patients have better access to advanced and modern treatment solutions, especially the latest inventions in cardiovascular treatment and surgery," Mr. Paul Verhulst pledged.
