Closing ceremony of Intermediate Political Theory class for cadres of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces (Laos)

This morning, December 26, Le Duan Political School held a closing ceremony for the Intermediate Political Theory class, full-time, course XII, 2023 for cadres of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces (Laos). The Intermediate Political Theory Class, full-time, course XII, 2023, for officials of Savannakhet and Salavan provinces, has 50 students, including 25 students from Savannakhet province and 25 students from Salavan province. The students are all current leaders and candidates for leadership positions of provincial and district-level departments, branches and sectors who were selected through preliminary selection in the two provinces before enrolling.

The training period of the course is 10 months, including 3 months of Vietnamese language taught by the Pedagogical College, 6 months of political theory taught by Le Duan Political School and 1 month of field research.

With a scientifically arranged study schedule, along with the efforts and striving of the lecturers and students, at the end of the course, 43 students graduated with honors and 7 students graduated with good grades. At the same time, the school also selected 8 students with excellent achievements in studying and training to commend and reward.

According to the school leaders' assessment, students during their studies always strictly follow and comply with the training regulations and rules of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the school; are highly self-disciplined in studying and training; have standard behavior with lecturers, Vietnamese students and people; no students violate Vietnamese law. Teaching, student management, regimes and policies are always well implemented and in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang affirmed that, in addition to the comprehensive cooperation in socio-economics, national defense and security between the two Parties and the two States in general, between Quang Tri province and the two provinces of Savannakhet and Salavan in particular, the work of Party building and building a comprehensive strong political system has always received special attention and focus from the provinces, including cooperation activities to train political theory for the staff of the two Lao provinces.

Appreciate the efforts and endeavors of the students who have overcome many difficulties due to differences in language, geography, teaching facilities, and accommodation to achieve good learning results. At the same time, acknowledge the seriousness and efforts of the staff and lecturers of Le Duan Political School in organizing classes to ensure the proposed program and plan.

From the knowledge learned and the precious feelings between the three provinces in the past time, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang hopes that after returning to their work units, the trainees will apply their knowledge to their work, solve practical problems, and make positive contributions to the development of their homeland; at the same time, contribute to fostering the special solidarity and friendship between Quang Tri province and the two provinces of Salavan and Savannakhet in particular, and between the two Parties and the two States of Vietnam and Laos in general.
