On the night of March 30 and the morning of March 31, the top European leagues continued to have exciting developments. In Germany, the Bundesliga's El Clasico took place between Bayern Munich and Dortmund at the Allianz Arena. After only 10 minutes of play, Adeyemi put the away team Dortmund ahead with a pass from Brandt.
The two teams traded blows in the following minutes, including Kane's close-range header that went over the bar in the 22nd minute while unmarked. Bayern then began to increase the pressure, but Dortmund's defense, especially Mats Hummels, continuously made timely blocks to shield Meyer's goal.
Bayern then went on a "crazy" attack but Dortmund's defence stood firm. The visitors even scored the decisive goal in the 83rd minute. Sebastien Haller created a breakthrough with a breakaway before passing the ball to full-back Ryerson who shot diagonally into Bayern's net.
This defeat has left the Bavarian team almost "giving up" in the race for the Bundesliga championship. They are 13 points behind the top team Leverkusen while the season has only 7 rounds left to end.
In other tournaments, Barca struggled to win 1-0 against Las Palmas in round 30 of La Liga thanks to Raphinha's only goal. This was a match in which coach Xavi and his team were given an extra man from the 24th minute after goalkeeper Álvaro Vallés of Las Palmas was sent off.
In Italy, AC Milan beat Fiorentina 2-1 while Juventus disappointed with a 0-1 loss to Lazio. In France, Monaco beat Metz 5-2 in a match in which Japanese player Minamino contributed a goal.
