When the group's business results were more positive, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc was even happier when the HAGL Club and Academy received comprehensive cooperation from a new partner, Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank LPBank .

According to the comprehensive cooperation agreement between HAGL Group and LPBank on October 23, 2023, Mr. Duc will for the first time attach a sponsor to the football team name to LPBank HAGL and the LPBank HAGL football academy.

Through sponsorship of the football academy, LPBank wishes to directly contribute to the training of talented young generations to participate in tournaments as well as create a new generation of players to supplement the club's participation in professional football tournaments and have the opportunity to compete at the Vietnam national team level.

This event marks new steps in the cooperation between a financial institution and a football training academy and a professional football club, creating new successful turning points for the development of both parties.

Specifically, LPBank provides stable financial resources for the academy and the club, empowering young football talents, helping the country's sports reach international standards. I came to football in 2001, it has been 22 years now, there are remarkable achievements and things that have not been done, but it can be said that HAGL is always at the forefront of football, especially youth training. After 2 V-League championships, since 2006, I listened to the advice of coach Arsene Wenger to invest in opening a 15-hectare youth football academy in 6 months.

During 22 years, I spent no less than 2,000 billion VND on football and gained a lot from promoting the brand of the corporation and Gia Lai province. I am proud to contribute to the development and victories of Vietnamese football.

After 22 years in football, I am now 62 years old and have been thinking a lot about how to make HAGL Football Club and Academy last forever. To do that, there must be a unit with passion, interest and especially money."

During the launching ceremony, Mr. Duc also thanked Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LPBank, known as Mr. Thuy when he was in charge of the Saigon Xuan Thanh team and is now financially supporting the Hanoi Police Club, commenting that he is a close brother and also very passionate about football.

"From now on, the football club and football academy will change their name to LPBank HAGL to develop together. If LPBank invests in HAGL and shares its strength with HAGL, it will be difficult to touch this club in the next few years, because it is already difficult for me alone, now that the two of you are working together, it will be even more difficult," Mr. Duc expressed his belief that LPBank HAGL club will flourish again.
