According to information broadcast on VTV news on the evening of June 15, the police force has arrested the suspect leading the group that attacked the People's Committee offices of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province). Thus, by the evening of June 15, the total number of suspects involved in the incident who have been arrested is 47.

Initial investigation results determined that suspect Y Tho Ayun (commonly known as Ama Kzruh, 35 years old, residing in Ayun village, Cu Pong commune, Krong Buk district, Dak Lak), was one of the leaders of the group that attacked 2 commune People's Committee headquarters, killing 4 police officers, 2 commune officials and 3 civilians.

At the police station, Y Tho Ayun confessed that he had gone to propagate and incite some people in villages in Dak Lak province to participate in the disturbance of security and order, using guns to attack 2 commune People's Committee offices in Cu Kuin district. Y Tho Ayun only chose people he trusted to propagate and attract, and did not propagate those who "were not trusted".
Up to now, the security and order situation in the whole Dak Lak province has returned to normal, and there has been no change in regular social activities. Dak Lak Provincial Police continue to call on those involved in the attack to surrender in order to receive leniency.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, in the early morning of June 11, a group of unidentified people used guns to attack the police headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, killing 4 police officers, 2 commune officials and 3 residents. The group also attacked and seriously injured 2 police officers.
The Ministry of Public Security has directed Dak Lak Provincial Police and professional units to deploy to arrest the group of people who attacked two commune People's Committee headquarters.
During the arrest, the authorities seized many military weapons, including CKC rifles that the suspects used to attack two commune People's Committee offices and kill people.
Lieutenant General To An Xo said that the Ministry of Public Security assessed the attack on the two commune People's Committee headquarters as an organized, very reckless, barbaric, and inhumane incident.
