(Dan Tri) - UAE newspapers expressed their amazement when witnessing the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club's unbelievable comeback against Abu Dhabi Country Club in the Asian Women's C1 Cup.
In the quarter-final match of the Asian Women's Cup C1, the HCMC Women's Club encountered many difficulties against the UAE representative, Abu Dhabi Country Club. Coach Nguyen Hong Pham's team even fell behind by 3 goals after the first half ended.

Al Khaleej (UAE) newspaper called this a strange match because they could not believe the comeback of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club. This newspaper wrote: "A strange defeat for Abu Dhabi Country Club. The UAE champion missed the best opportunity to enter the semi-finals of the Asian Women's Cup 1. The defeat came to Abu Dhabi Country Club in an unbelievable way when they led Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club 3-0, then 4-2".
The Arab newspaper Kooora commented: "Abu Dhabi Country Club has named 6 foreign players in the starting lineup. They are important factors of the team. Everything went very smoothly for Abu Dhabi Country Club when they led 3-0 after the first half ended.

In the second half, the Abu Dhabi Country Club coach changed his defensive counter-attacking tactics. The changes helped Ho Chi Minh City take the lead by reducing the score to 2-3. At this point, Abu Dhabi Country Club was forced to adjust their playing style and the result was a goal that raised the score to 4-2.
However, the UAE representative still could not win when the HCMC women's club created an unbelievable comeback by winning 5-4.
After their victory over Abu Dhabi Country Club, HCMC Women's Club became the first Vietnamese team to reach the semi-finals of the Asian Women's C1 Cup. They achieved this feat in their first time participating in the tournament.
The semi-final match of the Asian Women's Cup between Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club and Wuhan Jiangda will take place on May 21.
