Speaking at the signing ceremony, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Truong Son said that The World & Vietnam Newspaper is proud to become a partner of The Korea Times - one of the leading English-language media agencies in the region. The World & Vietnam Newspaper is one of Vietnam's leading foreign newspapers, with the main mission of introducing to international readers the image of a peaceful, friendly and dynamic Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Son said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will open a new chapter for a close and long-term cooperative relationship, promoting the exchange of content, experience, and professional knowledge and moving towards co-organizing events.

The Editor-in-Chief of The World & Vietnam Newspaper expressed his hope that more information about Vietnam will appear in The Korea Times, reaching more Korean readers, and that The World & Vietnam Newspaper will also have more articles about the beautiful country of Korea with its hardworking people.

Vietnamese readers, especially young readers, fans of Korean culture, cuisine, movies, music groups like BlackPink or BTS and Korean cuisine, will have more information about the land of kimchi on The Gioi & Viet Nam Newspaper.

Sharing about the initiative to establish a network of relationships with about 50 newspapers from various countries, Mr. Oh Young-jin - Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of The Korea Times said that the idea is to provide readers with accurate information about the situation in the world, regions, and countries as well as promote cooperation between press agencies around the world.

According to Mr. Oh Young-jin, through signing the MOU with The Gioi & Viet Nam Newspaper, Korean readers will have more information about Vietnam and open up opportunities for the two press agencies to cooperate in production and coordinate human resource training.

First published in 1950, The Korea Times is the oldest English-language newspaper in Korea and currently maintains both a daily print edition and a regularly updated online edition. The Korea Times is considered the leading prestigious English-language newspaper in Korea with a large readership and a variety of sections.

The Korea Times has signed MOUs to establish cooperative relationships with a number of major newspapers such as the South China Morning Post, Gulf Times, Oman Daily Observer, The Jordan Times, The Astana Times, etc.
