Thanh Nien Newspaper cooperates to donate bicycles to help students go to school

Yesterday afternoon (December 9), Thanh Nien Newspaper's permanent office in Da Lat ( Lam Dong ), together with members of the 2023 Journey to Conquer the Highlands - Da Lat cycling race, organized the donation of bicycles to support disadvantaged students to go to school to students of Bui Thi Xuan High School (Da Lat) and students of Yersin University.

Giving bicycles to help disadvantaged students get to school

10 students were given bicycles, each worth 5,800,000 VND, contributed by members of the Conquering the Highlands - Da Lat 2023 cycling race. On this occasion, Ms. Le Thi Sen, Standing Member of the Vietnam Bicycle - Motorcycle Federation, Head of the National Bicycle Movement Committee, and members donated 12 million VND to the Thanh Nien Newspaper Office to help poor students in the area. The total value of this charity is over 70 million VND.

Donating bicycles to students of Nguyen Du Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School (Laos)

Ms. Sen added that on December 2, the Vietnam Bicycle - Motorcycle Federation organized a friendship bicycle race between Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, starting from Hanoi to Vientiane (Laos), on the occasion of the Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia National Assembly Summit. On this occasion, the race members presented students of Nguyen Du Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School (Laos) with 10 bicycles and 11 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship).

Previously, in October 2023, Lam Vien - Da Lat Bicycle Club and bicycle clubs under the Vietnam Bicycle - Motorcycle Federation sponsored 42 bicycles for Thanh Nien Newspaper Office to give to secondary school students in Da Lat City.
