The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm moved slowly to the northeast, at a speed of 5-10 km/h. At 7:00 p.m. on October 3, the center of the storm was at about 23.3 degrees north latitude; 120.7 degrees east longitude, in the sea south of Taiwan Island (China). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 9-10, gusting to level 13. The storm moved to the northeast, at a speed of 5-10 km/h and gradually weakened. At 4:00 a.m. on October 4, the center of the tropical depression was at about 24.0 degrees north latitude; 121.2 degrees east longitude, in the Taiwan island area (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression has decreased to below level 6. The tropical depression is moving northeast at a speed of 5km/h and gradually weakening into a low pressure area. Due to the influence of storm No. 5, today (October 3), the northeastern sea area of the northern East Sea (north of latitude 20.5N; east of longitude 118.0E) will have strong winds of level 7-9, near the center of the storm level 10-12, gusting to level 15, waves 5-7m high; rough seas.
