Gang violence in Haiti's capital leaves 30 dead

At least 30 people were killed and dozens injured in gang violence in the capital Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Authorities say violence in the Carrefour-Feuilles area, a hotbed of gang activity, has forced more than 5,000 people to flee their homes in recent days. Some have found shelter in local schools or sports centers, while others have found refuge on the streets.
