Kinhtedothi - On February 18, Kinh te & Do thi newspaper and Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) held a Conference to Sign Media Cooperation. Accordingly, the two sides will work together to contribute to the development of Vietnam's tourism industry.
Specifically, in the coming time, Kinh te & Do thi newspaper will be the official communication hub for VITA and its member businesses; propagating the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies, Hanoi City's and other localities' policies on tourism development.
In particular, the two sides pay special attention to communicating the State's preferential policies, cooperation between localities, tourism associations, and enterprises towards digital transformation and green transformation, meeting the needs of accelerating the development of Vietnam's tourism.
During the process of organizing propaganda activities, Kinh te & Do thi newspaper supports VITA in promoting the connection between tourism businesses with airlines, transportation companies, tourism service providers, hotels, restaurants, human resource suppliers, tourism development consultants, etc.
In particular, the newspaper also publishes recommendations from tourism businesses to authorities on creating an open environment in tourism management and business, in infrastructure development, in product development and tourism promotion.
The newspaper also reflects the difficulties and obstacles of enterprises in business operations; VITA's advice and support for member enterprises in the process of attracting domestic and international tourists; and warns of possible disadvantages.
In order to improve the quality of traditional activities and connect destination businesses, Kinh te & Do thi newspaper cooperates with VITA to organize seminars, forums, etc., reflecting on difficulties and obstacles in mechanisms and policies in practice as well as lessons, good experiences, examples of startups, and achievements in applying technology in tourism activities of member businesses.
Speaking at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between VITA and Kinh te & Do thi newspaper, VITA Chairman Vu The Binh said that VITA currently has 60 provincial tourism associations and 17,000 member enterprises. Therefore, communication work is an important activity in bringing benefits to the Vietnamese tourism industry. The signing of the agreement between VITA and Kinh te & Do thi newspaper will be a specific and practical activity in promoting the tourism industry. "Kinh te & Do thi newspaper will become the main unit in promoting the tourism industry" - Mr. Binh wishes.
Agreeing with this opinion, Editor-in-Chief of Economic & Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi said that currently, Economic & Urban Newspaper has many specialized pages reflecting socio-economic issues, becoming a prestigious newspaper, indispensable in the spiritual life of Hanoi people.
In order to support businesses and management agencies in communication work, the newspaper has signed cooperation agreements with 28 districts and many universities and associations. Through the signing of cooperation agreements between the newspaper and VITA, it will support the tourism industry in reflecting the advantages and difficulties in the development process.
In the coming time, Kinh te & Do thi newspaper will be the media sponsor for the Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2025 (VITM 2025). In particular, the newspaper will coordinate with VITA to develop criteria for scoring readers' votes for green tourism businesses, thereby honoring typical green tourism businesses, contributing to the development of the tourism industry every year.
