Agribank Insurance accompanies the 8th Congress of Vietnam Farmers' Union

From December 25-27, 2023, at the My Dinh National Convention Center (Hanoi), the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term was solemnly held. At the Congress, 16 emulation targets in the Association's work and the farmers' movement for the 2023-2028 term were proposed for discussion and approval, including 7 new targets compared to the previous term such as: establishing professional farmers' association branches; vocational training for members; establishing accounts on e-commerce platforms for farming households; participating in voluntary social insurance; establishing new cooperatives, cooperatives, etc.

The Congress also discussed and gave opinions on 7 tasks and solutions for the 2023-2028 term, including: building a clean and strong Vietnam Farmers' Union; building civilized and comprehensively developed Vietnamese farmers; promoting the central role of farmers in agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction; promoting service activities, consulting, supporting farmers to develop production and business...
