Mr. Luong Van Thu, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Mu Cang Chai district, said that due to the influence of cold air, the temperature dropped sharply, on the high mountain tops of the district it was only 0 - 3 degrees Celsius.

At the top of Trong Pao Sang, Khau Pha and Khau Nha in La Pan Tan commune; Lung Cung peak in Nam Co commune, frost and snow cover the area.
