Quoc Khanh and his group of friends completed the 8km trekking route in 5 hours, from 12 noon to 5 pm. The 9X was impressed with the trekking route because of the beautiful, fresh and cool scenery. “During the journey to conquer the route through Cat Ba National Park, our group crossed moss-covered and slippery cat-ear rocks. There were some difficult sections, but in return, the landscape was very beautiful, covered in abundant green. To have a safe and enjoyable trekking trip, Quoc Khanh suggests that visitors to Cat Ba Island this season should bring mosquito repellent, insect repellent, food, drinks, electrolytes (to compensate for the salt lost when climbing the mountain and food to avoid hypoglycemia). Being the final stop of the trekking route through Cat Ba National Park, and possessing a fresh and green space, Viet Hai village has also become an attractive tourist destination, especially for foreign tourists. Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Vu Phi Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of Viet Hai Commune People's Committee said that in the past 5 years, Viet Hai village has been known and experienced by more tourists thanks to the development orientation and new tourism products of the locality.Not only possessing a wild and idyllic natural landscape, Viet Hai village is also likened by tourists to a place where "people can sleep without locking their doors, and their vehicles can be left outside all day without being stolen" (Photo: DL Black).
On average, Viet Hai village welcomes 700 - 800 foreign tourists every day, and in the summer alone it can reach more than 2,000 visitors per day, not to mention domestic visitors.
