Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee deploys tasks for 2024

According to the assessment of the Provincial “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Committee, the work of mobilizing support for the “For the Poor” Fund in 2023 has received the consensus and support of agencies, organizations, businesses and people of all ethnic groups in the province. The work of caring for the poor has been gradually socialized and promoted the existing resources in the locality according to the motto “Taking the strength of the people to care for the people's lives”.

Member organizations have integrated into their unit's work programs to implement support for the "For the Poor" Fund, and at the same time mobilize union members to contribute funds to the organization to support union members in difficulty...

In 2023, the Provincial Fund for the Poor collected 16,156 billion VND from organizations and individuals who supported and contributed. In the past year, from the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels and from the sources of families, brothers, clans, and people in the community who contributed materials and labor days, 302 "Great Solidarity" houses were built and repaired with a total support of more than 10 billion VND (of which the provincial level built 73 new houses, the district level built 155 new houses and repaired 74 houses); supported 113 households to develop production with a total amount of 703 million VND; supported 242 patients being treated in the hospital with a total amount of 218 million VND; supported 1,956 students to study with a total amount of 883 million VND; other support in cash was 811 million VND; fund management expenses of 16.91 million VND.

At the conference, members of the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee approved the draft assignment of tasks for members of the Committee, and discussed difficulties and obstacles in the process of mobilizing support in the province and innovative solutions in propaganda and mobilization of support for the "For the Poor" Fund.

Comrade Ma En Hang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Concluding the conference, comrade Ma En Hang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Board, requested members of the Board to focus on propaganda, promote responsibility, mobilize contributions from organizations and units, including increasing socialized resources to support poor households in many forms; register to support livelihoods, build and repair houses for poor households with practical and appropriate actions. Thereby, contributing significantly to completing the target of mobilizing resources from the “For the Poor” Fund according to the set plan.
