The program is organized by Be Style Be You, a unit specializing in personal style, in coordination with other organizations.
Minimalist, eco-friendly clothing
The workshop includes content that guides young people in choosing personal colors, dressing according to body shape, and defining style. The content of purifying and arranging capsule wardrobes attracts the attention of many people.
"Why is it that when we have so many items in our wardrobe, we have nothing to wear when we need it, and we spend a lot of time shopping and preparing for each event? Sometimes we will discover that we have bought similar items and then never used them," said Ms. Truong Ngoc Minh Dang, founder of the Love Your Body community project, a co-organizer.

In order to help young people dress beautifully without having to shop more, and to be able to clean up their wardrobes according to the capsule wardrobe model, speaker Tran Thi Phuong Thao (founder of Be Style Be You, 17 years of experience in the fashion and health care industry) advised: "Simplifying clothes but still dressing beautifully will help young people save time, money, and live a minimalist life.
This lifestyle will contribute to protecting the environment when consuming sustainable and selective fashion".
According to stylist Dao Tran, determining your personal style and body shape will help young people be confident, shop wisely and protect the environment.
Ms. Dao also suggests ways to identify body shapes such as rectangle, pear, hourglass... to help apply appropriate clothing to flatter the body.
"This can be determined through body measurements, shoulder, back, arm, leg index... The proportions of collar details, sleeves... are also very important in the overall look," said Ms. Dao.
Clean and organize your capsule wardrobe
Capsule wardrobe, or basic wardrobe, is a concept that refers to a wardrobe with minimalist clothing items, easy to combine and suitable for many occasions. This wardrobe has about 20 - 30 items, saving time, space, cost, and is environmentally friendly.
The items in this wardrobe will be easy to coordinate with each other in terms of color and style. Young people can choose cool or warm tones... to suit their skin color.
According to Ms. Phuong Thao, to clean and organize your wardrobe, young people need to prepare space, bags and boxes for sorting, mirrors, shelves, hooks, trash cans, pens, paper, time and a positive spirit.

For cleaning tools, young people should have hangers, folding hooks, compartment boxes, and storage boxes.
Hangers are used for items that need to be hung straight, avoid wrinkles, and keep their shape.
Sorting box to organize wrinkle-free, easy-to-find items, loungewear, sweats and shorts.
Compartment box used to store socks, underwear, classified by color, purpose of use...
As for storage boxes, we use them to store blankets and rarely used items, so they will be neat and easy to find.
In addition, there is a jewelry box to classify jewelry by category, avoiding loss. A cosmetic box to keep everything neater.
A full-length mirror will also help you easily eliminate inappropriate items.

"When purging, we will classify clothes, removing items that are no longer used. We arrange them by season and application, by type and color to find items faster," Ms. Thao revealed.
Storage systems such as folding and rolling clothes help keep your closet neat, clutter-free, and free of falling items when you take them out.
For the unpurified parts, we can label them on boxes or shelves, so that we can take them out when needed.
For example, when we need to wear fall and winter clothes, we keep them. Summer clothes are put in boxes and taken out when the season comes.
Ms. Thao shared that the weather in Ho Chi Minh City does not have much difference in the seasons, so a capsule wardrobe can help you easily wear and combine not only in one season but also for 6 months.
Choose durable materials that can be worn for a long time
When choosing outfits to put in a capsule wardrobe, young people can prioritize choosing 3-4 items for the upper body, about 3 pairs of pants, 3 skirts for the lower body, then outerwear...
If you like to wear many layers, you can choose 2-3 more tank tops and t-shirts to mix and match. The secret is to prioritize choosing items that can be mixed and matched with many other items and worn on many occasions, suitable for your personal style.
"Besides, young people can choose durable materials that can be worn for a long time, maybe for 3-4 years, even 10 years," she said.
