On March 18, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to discuss and give opinions on the results of the first quarter's work, the tasks of the second quarter of 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee and give opinions and policies on socio-economic issues within its authority. Comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were comrades: Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of a number of agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office and relevant departments and branches.
At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the results of the first quarter and the tasks of the Provincial Party Committee in the second quarter of 2024. Accordingly, in the first quarter of 2024, in the face of many difficulties and challenges, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee focused on leading, directing, and synchronously and comprehensively implementing the work of Party building, building the political system, performing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.
The work of Party building and political system building continues to be strengthened and effectively implemented. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee focus on directing Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Directive No. 26 dated November 23, 2023 of the Secretariat on organizing the Giap Thin New Year in 2024; Directing the preparation of conditions for receiving and working with delegations of Party and State leaders visiting and working in the province; Directing the summary of Party building work for 5 years (2021-2025), summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and summarizing the implementation of Directive No. 35 dated May 30, 2019 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party; Directing the organization of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the 2024-2025 special year.
The activities of the government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels have undergone many innovations; quality and efficiency have been increasingly improved; democracy has been expanded, and the great national unity bloc has been strengthened.
Thanks to the leadership and close and comprehensive direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the socio-economic situation of the province in the first quarter of 2024 remained stable and developed; import-export activities and investment attraction increased significantly; trade, service and tourism activities achieved positive results. Culture and society had many exciting activities; well organized activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring; organized for people to celebrate Tet safely, happily and healthily; well organized major spring festivals in the area, thereby increasing the attraction of tourists to the province.
Social security policies are implemented promptly, practically, and to the right target. Administrative reforms have had positive changes. Political security and social order and safety are maintained, and people's lives are stable.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, requested Party committees at all levels to well perform the tasks set out in the second quarter of 2024. Therein, focusing on carefully preparing documents for the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; well preparing conditions for the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels towards the provincial Fatherland Front Congress; Concluding the inspection delegations of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Arranging a step of personnel work to prepare for the congress of the next term; Deploying plans to ensure synchronization, tightness and efficiency.
At the same time, focus on implementing well the site clearance work, speeding up the progress of construction investment projects, especially some key projects; submitting for approval the high-tech park project, focusing on completing the infrastructure of approved projects, promoting investment attraction in the province; completing the Tam Chuc subdivision to serve tourism development; continuing to handle existing problems according to the inspection conclusion; reviewing investment projects in the province to ensure compliance with regulations.
On the other hand, continue to promote digital transformation, reorganize commune and ward units, paying attention to ideological work and ensuring policies for cadres when implementing mergers in accordance with principles. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments to promptly complete the report to the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
Previously, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee listened to the Inspection Team (established under Decision No. 747-QD/TU dated August 22, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee) report on the inspection results. Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee gave opinions and policies on the contents of adjusting the Internal Affairs, Judicial Reform and Anti-Corruption Work Program of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee in 2024. It gave opinions on the contents of supervision, social criticism, and suggestions for Party building and government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in 2024; it gave opinions on the draft Regulation of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on appraising drafts of historical works of local and unit Party committees; the history of revolutionary traditions of departments, branches, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in Ha Nam province.
Tomorrow morning, March 19, the Provincial Party Committee Conference will continue to give opinions and policies on socio-economic issues within its authority.
