Handing over the "Great Unity" house in Lam Thao town

The Lam Thao District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Lam Thao Town Fatherland Front Committee to organize the handover of the "Great Solidarity" house to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Tan Son area, Lam Thao town.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet's family is a near-poor household, in difficult circumstances, the old house where her family lives has seriously degraded. Implementing the campaign "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", the Lam Thao District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Lam Thao Town Fatherland Front Committee to mobilize organizations, individuals, philanthropists, and residential areas to support Ms. Tuyet's family to build a new, more spacious house.

After 3 months of construction, the 82m2 house of Ms. Tuyet's family was completed and put into use with a total construction cost of over 250 million VND. Of which, the Lam Thao District Fatherland Front Committee supported 70 million VND from the Fund for the Poor; the District Red Cross Society supported 5 million VND; Lam Thao Town supported 5 million VND from the Town's Fund for the Poor; the Fatherland Front Committee and local socio -political organizations gave gifts and money worth 2 million VND; the Town Red Cross Society supported 1 million VND; the residential area, family members and relatives supported nearly 60 million VND. The remaining amount was accumulated by the family and borrowed from the bank.

This is a meaningful and practical work, helping the family feel secure in their work and production. He hopes that the family will continue to strive to improve their lives, actively participate in local movements, and at the same time, request the town and residential area to continue to support the family with specific actions, helping them have more conditions to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.
