This is an activity within the program "Supporting the construction of 300 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households", implementing a special emulation movement to welcome the 11th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. The total cost of building each house is at least 100 million VND; of which, the source of social mobilization support and the provincial and district budget is 90 million VND, the rest is mobilized from families, relatives, clans, and communities. After more than 3 months of construction, the houses were completed on schedule and handed over to households. Each house has a minimum construction area of 32m2, the house structure ensures the "3 hard" standard (hard floor, hard frame - wall, hard roof) and has a toilet.
Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, together with local leaders and businesses, presented gifts and handed over decisions to hand over houses to households in Thuan Nam district.
Speaking at the house handover ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that the program "Supporting the construction of 300 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households" has been completed and handed over to households. This is a practical activity to welcome the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029; At the same time, it significantly contributed to the effective implementation of the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023-2025, as well as following the Prime Minister's launch of the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" by 2025. To achieve this result, he highly appreciated the attention and leadership of the Party Committee and the government, the strong and decisive participation of the Front system at all levels in implementing and strictly managing the support sources and supporting the construction of houses on schedule, along with the initiative of households that mobilized additional counterpart resources to build spacious houses, worth twice the amount of the project's support budget. With the goal of completing 1,243 houses by 2025 and no more temporary or dilapidated houses in Ninh Thuan province, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee requested that in the coming time, Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Fronts at all levels and member organizations of the Steering Committee of the project continue to accompany, care for, and coordinate synchronously to effectively implement the project according to the set roadmap, ensuring the correct principles, objects, and forms of support; promptly remove obstacles and difficulties in the process of implementing house building. On the part of the people, when receiving financial support from the project, they need to make efforts to "settle down and work", encourage and be determined to develop their family economy to develop more and more to escape poverty sustainably. At the same time, he also acknowledged the sharing and noble gestures of MK Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), Bim Salt Production and Processing Joint Stock Company; He hopes that businesses, philanthropists and benefactors will continue to join hands to support resources to care for the poor, helping them have stable housing and peace of mind to develop the economy.
