On the evening of June 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, Military Hospital 175 coordinated with the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department to organize a conference to hand over the status quo of Level 2 Field Hospital No. 5 (BVDC2.5) from Military Hospital 175 to the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Permanent Deputy Head of the Inter-Agency Working Group, Deputy Head of the Ministry of National Defense's Steering Committee on participation in United Nations peacekeeping operations chaired the conference.

In the past time, the training organization for Field Hospital 2.5 participating in the United Nations Peacekeeping operations has completed all contents well, ensuring compliance with 95 standard procedures (SOP) as required by the United Nations. Field Hospital 2.5 completed the training content on medical expertise according to the program approved by the Chief of the General Staff. Along with that, ensuring good training content on: Trauma first aid, dissemination of medical support manuals in peacekeeping operations, planning and implementing experimental surgery programs, epidemic prevention...

For peacekeeping training, Military Hospital 175 coordinated with the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department and foreign partners to organize training courses to improve medical expertise and specialized knowledge of United Nations peacekeeping for officers and staff of Field Hospital 2.5. The Vietnam Peacekeeping Department organized pre-deployment training, comprehensive practice exercises and survival skills field training for Field Hospital 2.5.
In addition, 100% of the officers and staff of BVDC2.5 are trained in foreign languages according to regulations. At the same time, they are trained in some soft skills, communication skills, and additional training in English in medicine... The team of BVDC2.1 and BVDC2.3 also exchange procedures and experiences of operations at the mission with the officers and staff of BVDC2.5.

Military Hospital 175 guides and exchanges on professional work during the time Field Hospital 2.5 performs its mission at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan.
Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan highly appreciated the units for their coordination in organizing serious and thoughtful training in all aspects for BVDC2.5. 100% of the members of BVDC2.5 have high capacity, professional qualifications, professional working attitude and good foreign language skills, meeting the requirements of the United Nations. At the same time, he requested that officers and employees of BVDC2.5 continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Party's foreign policy and viewpoints, State policies and laws, military discipline, always unite, love and support each other in all tasks. BVDC2.5 must promote tradition and practically continue to cultivate the beautiful image of Uncle Ho's soldiers at the mission.
