Specifically, after installing the latest Windows 11 update released by Microsoft on August 22 (update number KB5029351), users' computers often freeze, restart automatically, and especially display a "blue screen of death" error.
Many Windows 11 users keep getting "blue screen" errors after updating to the latest patch. |
The blue screen message says the user's computer is using an "Unsupported Processor," even though the computer was previously running Windows 11 perfectly fine.
The cause of the error is still unknown, but the error mainly occurs with people using computers with MSI mainboards (including both desktops and laptops).
The KB5029351 update for Windows 11 has just been released by Microsoft mainly to patch security vulnerabilities as well as improve search capabilities on this operating system.
After many user complaints, Microsoft said it had acknowledged this error and would investigate the cause of the problem. Microsoft has also stopped releasing this new update to users to find out the cause of the problem.
