According to Mr. Khai, Bac Ninh wants to attract green investments and associate them with advanced operating and management methods in the fields of high-tech industry (energy batteries, semiconductors, chips, etc.), supporting industry (auto parts manufacturing, etc.), 5G and 6G terminal technology, clean and high-tech agriculture, high-end commercial service complexes (commercial centers, entertainment, training services, international healthcare, etc.), infrastructure investment, urban and ecological development.
Representatives of many European businesses listened to the potential of Bac Ninh at the workshop.
Bac Ninh prioritizes attracting investment with the policy of "2 low, 3 high", that is, investment with low land use and labor force, but high technology content, investment rate and economic efficiency, and with the spirit of "4 readiness" (ready clean land, ready human resources, ready reform and ready to support investors).
At the workshop, Mr. Petr Valenta, Global Director of 2 product lines of ABB's Distribution Stations and Power Distribution Solutions, said that Bac Ninh has a good geographical location and infrastructure; a reputable supplier system; and local government support... Mr. Marco Freidl, Director of Global Strategy and Business Development of Oerlikon Group, which opened a representative office in Hanoi in 2017 and built its first factory in Bac Ninh in 2019, sees in Bac Ninh a strong production ecosystem, conveniently connected with the group's partners and customers.
