The International Criminal Court (ICC) on November 21 issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as well as Hamas leader Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri (also known as Mohammed Deif).
The agency's account on social network X stated: " The ICC Court of First Instance rejected the State of Israel's claims to jurisdiction and issued arrest warrants for Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr. Yoav Gallant."

The ICC said Israel's acceptance of its jurisdiction was not mandatory.
Earlier in September, Israel filed a formal protest with the ICC regarding the legality of the prosecutor's request to issue arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and then-Defense Minister Gallant.
According to Israel's petition, the ICC has no jurisdiction to discuss Palestinian complaints against its officials.
