Due to the influence of cold air strengthening, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have rain, showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places.
From the night of January 10-12, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will experience severe cold; frost and frost are likely to occur in high mountainous areas; the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa will experience severe cold; in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.
Localized heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
