Ms. Vang Thi Binh was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023 term.

The Congress elected delegates to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023 - 2028.

Discussing and contributing ideas to the political report, delegates were happy and excited with the results that the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province achieved in the past term. Delegates said that these results were the efforts of each cadre, member, farmer, and the facilitation of all levels and sectors in the process of implementing models and projects through support activities... Delegates also contributed many ideas to share valuable experiences and good practices in poverty reduction; patriotic emulation movements; economic development models; work to attract and gather members of the Provincial Farmers' Association; the entrustment of loans at the Social Policy Bank ; and mobilizing members to build new rural areas.

Delegate Nguyen Dang Hung, Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dien Bien district, discussed experiences in mobilizing members to actively participate in building new rural areas.

Along with that, delegates also clarified the coordination work between Farmers' Association organizations with local Party committees and authorities; at the same time voted and agreed on 5 goals and 18 targets to strive for in the new term.

Comrade Cao Xuan Thu Van, Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the 10th Provincial Farmers' Union.

Within the framework of the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term X, 2023 - 2028, held its first meeting to elect key positions. Accordingly, Ms. Vang Thi Binh , President of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term IX, continued to be elected as President of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2023 - 2028. The Congress also elected the Standing Committee; Inspection Committee , Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association; elected 11 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term 2023 - 2028.
