Three decades of SeABank creating a culture of connection

Each melody of the song “Ket tay dan yeu thuong”, the traditional song of SeABank, resonates in the minds of listeners and that melody has become a common language, connecting millions of hearts of customers and employees of the Bank for 30 years of service. And Connection is the cultural feature that makes SeABank different in that journey. In 2021, on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the bank’s establishment, SeABank officially announced the song “Ket tay dan yeu thuong” as a traditional song with the desire to spread the good cultural values that the Bank has built throughout its formation and development process. It is a culture of connection based on the foundation of 5 core values: For the community - Always transparent - Like-minded - Passionate - Forever sustainable. Connecting life values During its 30-year development journey, SeABank has been positioned as a business that connects life values, bringing good things to customers and society. Over three decades, SeABank has always strived to successfully connect and be happy for millions of customers and partners, thereby bringing many benefits and prosperity to each person, true to the slogan "Connecting life values".

For 30 years of persistently connecting life values, SeABank has spread good values by linking business with social responsibility, thereby connecting customers with the community. For each transaction from 1 million VND that customers pay with SeALady Cashback card, SeABank will contribute 2,000 VND to the Cancer Patient Support Fund "Bright Tomorrow" to share difficulties with breast cancer patients. To date, the Bank has supported more than 3 billion VND to help many female patients have successful surgery and return to their families after long days of treatment. Meticulous in each product, specialized in each service, thoughtful in each transaction, SeABank has increasingly won the trust of customers. From zero on the first day of establishment, SeABank has received the trust and companionship of more than 3 million customers nationwide. Connecting love - Connecting the community At SeABank, For the Community is considered the Bank's operating principle. A series of charity activities are organized on an increasingly larger scale, bringing practical values to the community. Programs such as Spring of Love, SeABanker for Children, Citizens Week, SeAGreen... are annual activities that create a unique culture for SeABankers.
As one of the banks with a long history in building corporate culture, SeABank especially develops a culture of helping and supporting disadvantaged people in society.
Over the years, the Bank has always proactively carried out social security activities in many forms such as supporting patients in difficult circumstances, awarding scholarships, donating gratitude houses, building solidarity houses, donating blood, raising charity funds for the poor, and supporting the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic. SeABank is particularly interested in and wishes to invest in education, nurturing green shoots of hope. Since 2015, SeABank has established the Dream Incubation Fund to award scholarships to studious children in difficult circumstances across the country. To date, more than 200 students have been sponsored by the Fund with a total value of nearly 10.6 billion VND. Notably, thanks to the Fund's support for many years, after 9 years of operation, 40 poor, studious students have successfully "passed the gate" to graduate from high school and continue their studies at a higher level.
The Bank's Dream Nurturing Scholarship Fund has been helping more than 200 poor, studious students achieve their dreams and become useful citizens to society.
Along with that, green economy is considered an important part of SeABank's sustainable development strategy. From 2019 to present, SeABank has donated nearly 300,000 trees and special-use forest trees to the localities of Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Long An. In addition, the Bank also organizes waste collection and sorting, equips more trees in the office, gives customers environmentally friendly gifts... to inspire green living, living responsibly towards the community. To date, SeABank has contributed more than 200 billion VND to social security activities and is proud to be honored as "Outstanding Bank for the Community" for many consecutive years.
In December 2023, SeABank donated 3 hectares of teak and tissue-cultured acacia trees to support forest protection and sustainable development in Thanh Hoa province.
30 years of formation and development associated with the slogan "Connecting life values" has helped SeABank reap many "sweet fruits". Up to now, when thousands of staff are joyfully welcoming the bank's 30th birthday (March 24, 1994 - March 24, 2024), each word of the song "Kiet tay dan yeu thuong" resounds again. In harmony with the music, the culture of Connection that SeABank has preserved for 30 years will continue to be expanded and spread, and at the same time become the guiding principle for all activities of the Bank in the following years and forever.
