'Arranging poor and disadvantaged households to participate in activities at the night food court'

The rural food court in An Nhut field previously caused a 'fever' on social networks.

According to the plan of Long Dien District People's Committee, from March 20, the rural food court will start piloting operations in the inner-field road area along Cau Moc canal (An Nhut commune). The operation of this food court will be fully managed by An Nhut Commune People's Committee.

The countryside food court is located along Cau Moc canal, in the middle of An Nhat commune's rice fields.

"When the rural food court in An Nhut commune comes into operation, it will contribute to creating livelihoods for people, especially poor and disadvantaged households. The locality will prioritize arranging for poor and unemployed households to participate in the night food court activities," Mr. Lam Van Hong emphasized.

"Before starting operations, the locality will invite all registered business households to commit to strictly complying with regulations on ensuring food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, and security and order. At the same time, these households are required to decorate their business stalls to ensure aesthetics and cleanliness," Mr. Lam Van Hong added.

Countryside food court causes 'fever' on social networks

Previously, the countryside food court had been operating in the An Nhut bridge area since January 2023. After a period of operation, it attracted a large number of locals and tourists from near and far to experience every day, enjoy the dishes as well as "check in" the countryside area. This area then caused a "fever" on social networks because it is located on a road in the middle of green rice fields, along a clear blue canal.

This model contributes to creating livelihoods for local people, a direction for developing community tourism in rural areas. However, some problems have arisen regarding traffic safety, food hygiene, environmental hygiene... Therefore, the local government has temporarily suspended the operation of this culinary spot since March 1 to completely handle the above problems.

Construction of decorative lights and railings connecting the two banks of the canal

According to Thanh Nien reporters, for many days now, the construction unit of the rural food court has been planting lighting poles, renovating the bridges connecting the two banks of the canal, making railings along the canal banks and on the bridges, planting flowers and trees...

Night food court in the evening is about to be put into operation

The People's Committee of Long Dien District has also requested Long Dien Town, An Ngai, An Nhut, and Tam Phuoc communes, which have internal roads, to organize the planting of trees and suitable flowers along these roads to create landscapes and continue to attract tourists. The rural food court will operate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
