In 2002, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong began investing in Vietnam with the desire to contribute to changing the face of the country and bringing a better life to everyone.

In 2013, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong became the first Vietnamese person to be named in the list of world billionaires. His current assets are estimated at about 7.5 billion USD, ranking first in Vietnam and 344th in the Forbes billionaire list.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup Corporation.

In 2020, he and his wife, Ms. Pham Thu Huong, established the VinFuture Global Science and Technology Fund and Award with the mission of honoring and supporting breakthrough scientific and technological research that has contributed or has the potential to contribute to making the lives of millions of people on earth better, while creating a sustainable living environment for future generations.

With great contributions to the fight against Covid-19, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has been honored by Forbes Magazine for two consecutive years as one of the 15 "Asia's Volunteer Heroes" (2020 - 2021).

Ms. Pham Thu Huong (born in 1969) is currently the Permanent Vice President of Vingroup Corporation. She is the wife of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong.
