Three Vietnamese beauties compete in three international beauty contests at the same time

(Dan Tri) - In late October and early November, three major and long-standing international beauty pageants, including Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth, all took place. Vietnam sent representatives to all three pageants.

Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth are among the biggest beauty pageants of the year. This year, all three pageants are scheduled to take place at the same time.

Since October 26, contestants of the three competitions have moved to the venue to prepare for the initial activities. Of which, the Miss Universe 2024 contest will take place in Mexico, Miss International 2024 will be held in Japan and Miss Earth 2024 will take place in the Philippines.

Of these three competitions, Miss Universe receives the most attention from fans. The Miss Universe 2024 competition is considered the season with the most contestants ever, with 130 beauties.

This year’s competition also has many innovations in the organization, promising an exciting and competitive season. For the first time in the history of the competition, the Organizing Committee announced that there is no age limit for contestants. In addition, transgender contestants, married contestants, and contestants with children are all welcome.

On some beauty forums, the prominent representatives of the Miss Universe 2024 contest have been named as: Peru, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Thailand, Philippines...

This year's contest will announce the top 30, top 12, top 5 and then the winner. In addition to the beauty queen, the contest will have 4 runners-up. The Miss Universe 2024 final will take place on November 16.

The new point of this year's contest is that 4 beauties were chosen as Miss Universe of each continent and won the right to enter the top 30. The contestant with the most votes also entered the top 30.

Vietnam's representative at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant is beauty Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen. She is currently in Mexico, ready for the first activities of this year's season.

Miss International 2024 will be held in Japan. This year's edition is the 62nd and will feature 73 contestants. The final round is scheduled to take place on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan.

Vietnam's representative at the contest is Miss Vietnam Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy. She is the first Miss Vietnam to be sent to participate in the Miss International pageant. The contest's organizers announced that the 2024 season will have many changes in the organization.

Accordingly, after the semi-final night on November 10 and the evening gown round on November 12, the judges will select the top 20. In the final night, all contestants will appear in national costumes.

The top 20 contestants competed in the swimsuit round to advance to the next round. The final top 8 contestants participated in the behavioral round and evening gown performance to select the new Miss International and 4 runners-up. Currently, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is in Japan and ready for this year's competition.

The Miss Earth 2024 pageant is taking place in the Philippines with the participation of 73 contestants. The final round of the pageant is scheduled to take place on November 9 in Manila (Philippines). Beauty Drita Ziri (Albanian) will pass the crown to her successor.

Vietnam's representative at Miss Earth 2024 is beauty Cao Ngoc Bich. She is a new face in the beauty world. Cao Ngoc Bich (25 years old) was in the top 10 of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023.

The beauty from Hung Yen graduated from the National University of Art Education ( Hanoi ) and is working at a construction company in Hanoi. Cao Ngoc Bich brings the message of veganism to this year's contest.

Before Miss Earth 2024 officially took place, 15 countries decided to withdraw because they could not organize a national contest. In recent days, sideline activities of the contest have been organized but have not created a big effect.

In recent years, Miss Earth has not attracted much media attention despite the large number of contestants. The noise about the awards, the organization, and the quality of the contestants has made the contest lose its appeal.

Previously, Miss Earth was ranked among the six major international beauty pageants. However, in recent years, Globalbeauties has removed this pageant from their list.
