Eximbank's Board of Directors has unanimously dismissed Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu from the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors from June 28. Instead, the bank's Board of Directors has unanimously elected Ms. Do Ha Phuong, current member of the Board of Directors, as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2025 term.

On the evening of June 28, Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) issued a Resolution on electing Ms. Do Ha Phuong - Member of the Board of Directors (BOD) to hold the position of Chairwoman of Eximbank's Board of Directors for the 7th term (2020 - 2025) to replace Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu - Former Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, from June 28, 2023.
After more than 1 year in this position, Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu had to leave the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.
Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu, born in 1980, joined Eximbank in 2018. In February 2022, with the support of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2025 term, Ms. Tu officially took the position of Chairwoman of Eximbank's Board of Directors. During her tenure in this position, Ms. Tu has made certain contributions to Eximbank.
To reach the decision to appoint this important personnel, Eximbank's Board of Directors held a meeting in accordance with regulations, accordingly, Ms. Do Ha Phuong received the trust and support of the bank's Board of Directors members.
Ms. Do Ha Phuong was born in 1984 and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of finance and banking. She joined Eximbank as a member of the Board of Directors since February 2022 and has made practical and timely contributions to the stability and development of Eximbank in recent times. Ms. Do Ha Phuong completed the Master of Finance program at the University of Westminster (UK) and a Bachelor of Accounting at George Mason University (USA). She has held many senior management and executive positions at many domestic and foreign credit institutions.
Regarding business activities, in 2023, Eximbank sets a target of total assets of VND 210,000 billion, an increase of 13.5%; pre-tax profit of VND 5,000 billion, an increase of 35%, compared to 2022.
