On November 6, Da Lat City Police (Lam Dong) said they were investigating and clarifying the case of Mr. PVT (33 years old, residing in Ward 10, Da Lat City) who was sitting in a restaurant with his wife and 3 young children and was suddenly seriously beaten and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
Earlier, on the evening of November 1, Mr. T.'s family went to eat at BC restaurant on Huynh Thuc Khang street, ward 4, Da Lat city. Recognizing an acquaintance sitting with two young men in black shirts at a nearby table, Mr. T. immediately went over to say hello, then returned to his table.

Everyone in T's family was chatting happily while waiting for the restaurant to serve their food, when suddenly two young men in black shirts at a nearby table approached Mr. T.
After a few exchanges, a young man in a black shirt hit Mr. T. in the face with a glass. Seeing their father being beaten and blood flowing down his shirt, Mr. T.'s children panicked, cried, and shouted for help. The incident was recorded by the restaurant's camera.
Mr. T. was seriously injured, with torn face and eyelids, and a lot of blood; he was taken to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment. The results of the examination at the hospital showed that Mr. T. had facial fractures and many injuries to his head and forehead; he had to have many stitches.
Upon receiving the report, Ward 4 Police went to the restaurant to examine the scene and went to the hospital to record the victim's injuries, and at the same time collected documents to transfer to Da Lat City Police for further investigation and handling.
Initially, authorities determined that the subjects who assaulted Mr. T. all lived in Da Lat City.
Mr. T. affirmed that he had no conflict with the two young men who assaulted him. Witnessing their father being assaulted, his children were extremely frightened and traumatized.
